Wednesday Night Beginner’s Meditation Class

Meditation is relaxing and brings with it many powerful benefits. But how exactly do we do it? Is it more than simply closing our eyes and remaining quiet? What do we do about sounds and other distractions, or daydreaming?

Not to worry. In this drop-in class, we explore simple techniques to make our meditations effective and enjoyable. Through explanations and guided meditations, you will quickly learn the basics, and come away with the tools you need to begin your own meditation practice.

The beautiful and tranquil meditation room at Kadampa Meditation Center Hollywood is an ideal place to find peace within. Both chairs and cushions are available. Everyone is welcome.
