Who: You, your friends and family are invited to participate in Kadampa Meditation Center Hollywood’s Fourth Annual Walk for World Peace Los Angeles. Kadampa Meditation Centers Hollywood & California are non-profit organizations dedicated to bringing peace and happiness to the world, and to removing suffering, through offering the methods of meditation and modern Buddhism to everyone.
What: By participating in the Walk for World Peace Los Angeles and getting sponsors via your fundraising page, you are contributing directly to world peace by supporting an organization that is devoted to creating inner and outer peace in our world. Particularly for this walk, we are raising money to re-paint and improve the interior of KMC-California. This Walk for World Peace Los Angeles is about community coming together with friends and family (dogs are welcome too) in order to fulfill our vision of the continued growth of our centers to benefit this and future generations. “Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible.” -Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

When: Sunday, November 19th Registration is from 10-10:45am. Guided meditation begins at 11am followed by the walk and ending with a vegetarian BBQ lunch.
How: $20 registration fee includes guided meditation with Gen Kelsang Rigpa, walk, lunch and tshirt. If you create a fundraising page and raise at least $75, your fee will be waived.
