The True Nature of our Mind

Discovering our Boundless Potential for Freedom and Happiness

Our mind is an unceasing stream of thoughts, feelings, and awareness that flows through our life, day by day, moment by moment, situation by situation. Sitting quietly within the peace of meditation we turn our awareness inwards and see that our mind is vast like the sky and contains a boundless potential for happiness, peace and personal transformation. However, as clouds obscure the open sky, our inner power for transformation is obscured by the stress, worries and problems we carry around with us in our daily life. In meditation, thought by thought, worry by worry, we begin to let go of our fixed, limited habits and patterns of thought. Going deeper we discover the ultimate nature of our mind – the peace of emptiness. Exploring the beauty of emptiness we discover true freedom and happiness. This experience is accessible to us all and is a true beacon of hope in this troubled world.

Whether you are an experienced meditator or a newcomer, this retreat will greatly improve the quality of your meditation. You will feel increasing peace and energy over the course of the retreat, and can then bring this back home and to work with you!
