About the Course
This 10-week course is a practical guide for developing and maintaining a light and positive state of mind, showing how to recognize and abandon thoughts and intentions that harm us, and to replace them with meaningful and beneficial ones. The inspiring discovery we make from the exploring and discovering how our mind works is that we can heal our mental pain and attain a lasting state of joy and peace regardless of how things are going in our life.

What to Expect at a Class:
Our Monday evening introductory meditation class begins with a guided meditation, followed by a talk on a certain topic (listed above), and ends with another guided meditation. Class is followed by refreshments and time to chat with the teacher and other students. Everyone is welcome. No previous experience is necessary.

Kelsang Rak-ma has been practicing Kadam Dharma for over 15 years. A teacher since 2000, she emphasizes formal meditation practices and their application in our busy lives, presenting the teachings with warmth and clarity.
