Craving, Attachment and Addiction
Buddhist Psychology for Transformation
A 3-week series of Friday Night Workshops
What precisely is attachment? What are the psychological processes that lead to addiction? Gain a deeper understanding of how our habits of thinking lead to attachment, and what we can do about it. These talks will provide a simple system for changing our way of relating to the objects of our attachment, giving us practical tools to help us break the chains of these painful mental habits and to experience real freedom.
Teachers for this series:
Mike Racadio – Friday, July 6
Mike has been studying the teachings of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years. As a teacher himself, he enjoys helping students discover practical ways to incorporate these teachings into their daily lives; his experience of Kadam Dharma and his counseling skills make him an effective and compassionate Kadampa Teacher at the Dharmachakra Buddhist Center.
Cameron Mathison — Friday, July 13 and July 20

the busyness of modern life. Cameron’s teachings are clear and practical, using his experiences as a husband and father
